Tummy Time

Peanut sleeps on her back, plays on her back, is in the car seat, bouncy seat, or swing, and never has an opportunity to develop her upper body strength. So, recently I've started making her lay on her tummy. She HATES it! Her tummy is barely touching the floor and she's already squirming like a fish out of water and starts crying - hard. I've started with just 5 minutes a day. And believe me, its the...longest...five... minutes...of the day. For me, and for her. That's why on Sunday when I put her on her tummy I was surprised at what I saw. Could it really be?....yes! It's a smile!
