Tell Me About Boys

Could someone please send me the manual on little boys? Preferably the chapter on why little boys feel the need to "mark their territory".

Case #1-We were at school one day for a reading party, where little kids can come and the 3rd/4th graders read them stories, and then play with them on the playground. As I was talking to one of the other mothers outside, I turned to see my 2yr old son watering the rocks. Thank goodness no other children were in reaching distance. I was so embarrased! He's never done this! I didn't even KNOW he could go on his own. He's always asked for help at home...on the potty! Let's hope this is an isolated incedent.......Nope!

Case #2-Bman was playing so nice in our sandbox all by himself and I frequently would look out the window or go out and check on him. Well, I was busy so I asked Minime to check out the window to make sure he was behaving. She came back quickly with a "yes". You know me. I didn't trust it, so I finished what I was doing and took a gander for myself. Nope, not behaving. There he was shooting as far as he could over the side of the sandbox. At least he knows not to pee where he plays:)

Case #3-We are at home, in the house. He comes yelling, "Mama, mama, me pee outside!" "No, big boys pee in the potty". With much resistance I got him to the potty and he yells, "No, mama! Cowboys pee on trees!" I asked him who told him that? "My daddy!" Why is it that boys can be standing right next to a bathroom, but still want to go outside to pee?

Well, these have been our wild and wet adventures this past week!
