I was watching the 6 o'clock news and I heard the words "multi vortex cell". Right then I convinced the kids that it would be SO MUCH fun to turn the cellar into an insta-secret clubhouse! Call me paranoid, but they thought it was great fun and I felt much safer. Lucky for us, though, we weren't hit with the severe weather - yet (we're still in a tornado watch as a type this, but it looks to be clearing off). Here are some picts of their fun evening.
Got "The Little Mermaid" movie started. Let the fun begin!
Bman roamed around the basement with me, but the girls only left "the clubhouse" to go to the bathroom, which is right next to the cellar. They had a great time and even talked dad into joining the "secret club" with them for about 10 minutes :)
