Our weekend

Daddy promised the girls that he would take them to a hotel when it snowed. Well, it's been snowing, and the girls have been begging. Usually around this time of year we try to make it to the Black Hills Stock Show and Rodeo, but time was not going to allow us to take that big of a vacation this year. So, my sister in law told me about a new hotel in Brandon with a great waterpark and we decided to try that for a night. The hubby surprised the girls and wouldn't tell them where we were going. When we drove up to the hotel, Minime says, "Is this where we are going? What a great surprise!" Then LiviJ says, "Are we going to sleep here?" and the hubby says yes. She responds with, "But we didn't bring our jammies?" I told her I brought them and she says with a big smile, "Good thinkin' mom!" We had a great time. The girls were mostly excited about swimming and sleeping in that big bed! Here is a picture of the waterpark.
To the left of the picture is the water slide. It's all enclosed and actually goes outside of the building and then comes back in at the bottom. So basically it's dark the whole time. It was fun, and the hubby even talked the girls into going with him. Minime really enjoyed it, but LiviJ was less than thrilled about the ordeal. Although, I did talk her in to going with me once and she was smiling at the end, but she still wouldn't go again. Twice was enough. Here are some pictures.

Bman was such a ham all night that night, as you can see. Everytime the camera came out I got a cheesy smile. He was a hoot and kept us laughing. I'm not sure why I didn't get any pictures of him swimming, but he had a great time splashing and running in the shallow end of the pool on Sunday.

We all had a lot of fun, and Minime says we can surprise her again any time we want :)
