My Living Room...

is done! Nothing wrong with the "before", but it's just that is was still the way it was in we moved in and I was ready after almost 7 years for a little touch of my own taste. Here are some of the before and after pictures.

We have never boughten new furniture for that room. The couch is a hand me down from my brother and sister in law, and the love seat and recliner are what I bought for my apartment after college - and they were used then already! The rocker I recieved from AI on my 5 yr work anniversary, so that's only 5 years old. But, I just couldn't see buying new furniture with 3 small kids in the house, so I settled for furniture covers. They do the job. Some day I'll get new furniture when my kids are old enough to "know better". For now, I'm pleased with the results.
