New Teachers

The sun had barely risen, when I woke up this morning to the sound of soft humming coming from the girls' room. I got up to check it out and watched LiviJ laying in her bed, with her eyes still closed, softly singing every word to Jesus Loves Me. She was barely awake, and yet the first thing she thought to do was sing. I thought, what a beautiful way to wake up! I could really learn a thing or two from my kids. Normally, it's wake up, and here we go with another busy day. It's amazing how kids can really put life - and faith- into perspective with the simplicity of everything they do and believe. So, enjoy this beautiful day!
