She's becoming a much happier baby. She's on Zantac now and that has helped a lot. She was sleeping about 6-8 hours at night, but now she's got an ear infection, so she's a little bit fussier lately. Hopefully we'll get her back on a good sleeping schedule soon. We are still doctoring for her ears. She still has not passed any hearing tests, but I'm still holding out hope that it's just fluid and not nerve damage. This ear infection is actually reassuring for me because you can't have an infection without fluid, so we know there IS fluid in there. Whether or not that's the extent of her hearing problems, still remains to be seen. Her next appointment is in February and if she still does not pass, then we will most likely talk tubes. The specialist said if we do tubes he can do another hearing test right after surgery while she is still out, and if she doesn't pass at that point, we'll know right away if it's more serious than fluid. But, we're taking it one day at a time and praying that this fluid will clear up on it's own in the next few weeks and she'll go to her Feb appointment and pass with flying colors and not need tubes.
The rest of the family is doing well. Thought I would also add a quick snapshot we took of the family at church the other day.
