In 9 years the Lord has given us....

Minime-age 7- She's such a sensitive soul. She loves to help out and wants to do "responsible" stuff like the grown ups. She always wants to please and I love that about her. She loves riding bike. She's really a story teller these days and loves to just "talk" to you. She'll be in 2nd grade this year. She's growing up so fast.

LiviJ-age 6- Her dimpled smile and laughter are infectious. She's generally ambitious and tries hard to get all of her "projects" just perfect. She loves coloring and doing puzzles. She doesn't mind getting dirty and will be the first one to dig for worms or pick up frogs.

Bman-age 3, almost 4- He's my boy. And "all boy" is he. What a difference from my girls. He'll drive tractors in the toy room or sand box for hours. I laugh at just about everything he says. He loves to spend time with daddy. I chose this picture of him to share because he just got a haircut yesterday. Why? Because he decided he was sick of his hair in his face (see the "before" hair in the first picture of our family) and so he decided to cut his "bangs" down to the scalp. Needless to say, I had to do a little fixing. The only way to "blend" was to basically butch the rest. This in itself made me mad, but to make matters worse, he also decided to cut off Peanuts cute little pony tail on the top of her head. We found her hair all still neatly tied in the blue ribbon on the toy room floor. Boys...what an experience. But I wouldn't trade it for anyting.

Benjamin - In a few short days, on Aug 20th, it will be 2 years since the day of his birth. How I wish he was with us. I see other boys that age and wonder what he would have grown to look like and what his personality would be like. It hardly seems like that long ago. Most days I still think about him. Some days with a smile, some days with tears. But even through the pain, I thank God for the blessing of him. God has taught me a lot through that experience.

Peanut-14 months- She's been walking since about 12 1/2 months. Here she is going around the house pushing her baby. She's very happy. She's an easy smiler and laughs out loud, which her great gma K loves! You can't help but get lost in her big blue eyes and long lashes. She's not the best eater or sleeper, but both have been improving lately. She battled ear infections since she was 9 months old and the last 2 appts with the specialist, they've finally looked good and I'm hoping that the eating and sleeping will continue to get better.

Baby Six -29 weeks gestation- We continue to pray for a healthy baby. From the ultrasound picture you can tell it's giving us the thumbs up. Hopefully that means all is going well in there :)
I'm thankful for 9 years. I'm thankful for every blessing and every experience. I'm thankful that God has chosen my husband for me to share all of them with.
