It's always so wonderful to see the kids grow in the their knowledge of Jesus. With their simple minds and childlike faith, I love some of the things they come up with. Last night at supper, our devotions was about how Jesus went out on the boat and told the fishermen to throw out their nets and they caught so many fish that the boat almost sank. Bman says, "If I was there, I would help Jesus' boat because I have muscles to not make the boat sink....But I don't know where Jesus is". I said, "Well, now he lives in your heart." He looked down at his tummy and says, "What's he doing in there?"
Then for bedtime devotions we read about Jonah and how God can see everything we do, even when no one else can. Bman, really trying lately to understand, asks "How can he see us? He can't see us because he's not in here." The girls answered, "God lives up in the sky, in Heaven, and he can look down and see everybody." Frustrated, Bman says, "But I thought you said He lived in my tummy?" It's so hard to explain, but I love that his mind is trying to grasp it and asking questions.
Hope you're having a good day.
