For fear of...well...just fear, I chose to "wait" to share this information with everyone. But, I'm tired of being afraid. I'm tired of worrying about the "what if's" that could happen during pregnancy. Every child is a miracle and we are so excited about this new baby coming in June. God is in control and I've realized that no amount of worrying is going to change His plan for us or this baby. "Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?" Matthew 6:27.
The following verse has also been a daily prayer for me. It has truly brought peace to my heart and keeps my mind focused. It's amazing what God can do for you if you just ask for His help!
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Jesus Christ." Phillipians 4:6,7
So, even though it's a daily struggle, He is helping me give up my fear and anxiety to Him. We are so excited about this new baby and wanted to share the news of our pregnancy with you!
