We played a long time then had a picnic under a shade tree. Then we walked over to the pool and spent the rest of the afternoon in the water. It's been a long time since we've been swimming, so they were not very comfortable with it at first, but made great strides by the end of the day. LiviJ was actually going in the deep water (or big pool) instead of just the baby pool (big step for her).
And Minime learned to put her head in the water. This is also a big step for her since at first she didn't even want to get splashes on her. I've decided we should try to go more often since we have a nice outdoor pool so close. We'll have to sqeeze that in between our camping schedule :)
After swimming we headed home to meet daddy and Bman. Everyone got cleaned up, we headed out for pizza and then went to the campground to visit family and watch fireworks from there. It was fun, and all the kids slept in this morning :) Hope you had a good day too.
