Grandparents Day

Today Minime had Grandparents Day at school. One grandma is on vacation in Michigan, and the other is a teacher, so we invited her Great Grandparents to come instead. Here is a picture of Minime's entire school, preschool through 8th grade, giving a program called "Down By The Creek Bank". It was really cute. Minime is in the middle of the very front row with a pink shirt and black pants. I never realized how tall she was for her class. (And I've also come to the realization that Schools and Churches have the worst lighting for taking pictures).

Next, the grandparents could visit Minime's room. Here she is coloring and cutting with Great Gma DJ.

After visiting school, LiviJ, Bman, and I met my sisters-in-law at Gma F's house and picked up a few sticks until Minime came home from school. It was beautiful weather and we couldn't resist getting outside.

Like I said...."Just a few sticks" :) We had fun. Even Bman would pick up one little stick and carry it all the way to the pile, then he'd walk all the way back to pick up one more little stick and bring it to the pile. It was funny, but it kept him busy and happy.
