First Day of Spring

And we took full advantage of it. We started off this morning with Story Hour at the library, where they read books about Easter Bunnies, sang songs and hopped like Easter Bunnies, and then made a cute little Easter Basket made out of a styrafoam cup and completed with a marshmallow peep. Really cute. Then we went out for dinner with some other mommies and preschoolers that were at story hour. Next, it was home for a short nap and then off to the local nursing home for an Easter Egg Hunt. Bman screamed at the sight of the Easter Bunny, but I did convince the girls to hop (get it?) into a picture with him.
Of course, they are again wearing their cowboy hats and boots. It's a fad for them right now, and it's not a fight a choose to pick. After playing games and hunting for eggs, we topped the day off by going to the park. It was a little bit of a muddy adventure, but it was such beautiful weather, that we couldn't resist.
Now I'm finally home and supper's in the oven. Bman is playing with his tractor and baler and I can only assume he's pretending he's in the Old 856, as loud as his mouth engine is going:) The girls are making bead necklaces and I'm ready to put my feet up. Hope you enjoyed your first day of Spring!
