Update

First of all, I want to say thank you for all of the prayers on my brother's behalf. He is home, recovering, and in good spirits. It may be up to 6 weeks before he can return to work, but he is healing!

I've been spending the last couple of weeks redoing my living room. When it's all done I'll post some of the "before" and "after" pictures. It's been kind of a long process. First, I painted all of the trim with two coats, then we started wallpapering. Ran out of wallpaper, so I had to order some more (still waiting on that). I loved the wallpaper, but decided I just couldn't live with the trim color that I had originally painted. So, I spent another week repainting all of the trim with another two coats. I'm really pleased with the second color, but I think my fingers are permantly stuck in a formation that represents holding a brush. You have to understand that I have cieling trim, a mantel, a chair rail, and base board around the entire room. Plus I'm doing the little entry way attached to it. Anyways, that's what I've been up to - besides chasing after the wee ones.

Minime is still obsessed with coloring and dress up. She loves school and now goes all day on Fridays. She also started riding the bus second semester. It's quite a ride for her as she is the last one off around quarter to 5. But we pack a coloring book and colors in her backpack and she always comes home with a completed picture and a smile. She looks so little getting off that bus. She waves good bye to the driver and runs to the house. Too cute.
LiviJ is still energetic. Her and Bman can play so well together, but they can fight the harderst, too. She loves to have races to see who can "beat" at getting dressed the fastest in the morning, or getting ready for bed at night. If she looses, she persuades Minime to "just call it a tie". She usually only looses if her pj's are "upside down" (inside out). She has a wild imagination and loves to use an old paper towel role as her "stella stoop" (telescope). Who needs toys for Christmas? She's innocently funny.

Bman is growing up so much, too. 16 mo old already and seems to be popping a tooth every time I turn around. We've also been fighting ear infection with him. He's almost done with his second antibiodic now, but I'm still not convinced it's helping. He's not sleeping through the night and picks at that ear a lot. The Dr said he might be a candidate for tubes, but I don't want to go down that road yet. Bman loves to dance. Even if he hears music on a commercial, his butt starts wiggling. He loves his tractors, taking a bath, and being read books. He smiles easily and generally has a happy-go-lucky personality. Bman's not talking a lot yet. Just mamma and dadda. He's babbling a lot more and experimenting with more sounds. But I'm convinced he said his first word the other day!...We were sitting at the table eating breakfast and we heard the hubby rev up the engine of the grinder. Bman gasps and his eyes get big. I open the shade so that he can see out the window and I say, "Did you hear daddy's truck? See daddy's truck?" He points to the grinder and clearly says, "uck". Yeah! Daddy's so proud that "truck" is his first attempt at a word. It's so fun coming to these new milestones.

Well, I suppose I've gone on long enough. We are all doing well over here. Until next time....
