Bman is 11 months old today. He is growing up so fast and doing so many new things. He loves to sing with you. He is really starting to imitate/study facial expressions and sounds. He loves to play patty cake and give you five. As of about 5 days ago, he hasn't had a bottle. He kept wanting the girls' sippy cups, so I finally poured his formula into a sippy cup and said, "Here." And there has been no problem. He wasn't sleeping well through the night, so I am cutting his naps short and that really seems to be helping. I've attached a picture of the newest place I found him. I heard some whimpering, so I went to look for him and he was stuck about 1/2 way up the steps. Now he climbs them with ease, but of course, can't get down.

He also loves his tractor. I used to believe that "girls like dollies, boys like tractors" was something that parents taught their children. But now I believe that it's something that is born in them, along with the "vroom, vroom" noise. My son is offered the same toys as my daughters, and he'll pick out that tractor first thing, every time.

I've also attached a picture of the girls playing school. It was the cutest thing. LiviJ is going to be so lost when MiniMe goes to school.

Here are also some pics of what they were doing today. We had this big tire and decided to put it in the back yard for a sand box. Well, there is no sand in it yet, so they just took it upon themselves to clean out the tire ALL OVER their hands, face and clothes, by playing house in it.
Minime in her "tire bed". Notice how dirty her clothes and skin are.

LiviJ on her side of the "bed".

After exploring every inch of the inside of the tire.
MiniMe loves hanging out with daddy. The other night she wanted to help daddy unload hogs. Well, I scared awake at 12:30am and still no daddy or MiniMe to be found. So, I off to find them. I got down to the hog confinements and I can hear. "Are you ready daddy?" Daddy says, "No, I need 20 more in this pen." She responds with, "OK, just a minute"....pause..."All right, I'm ready now." She was holding the gate while daddy was counting. She was wide awake and staying 'till the job was done! At one point he said that the hogs started piling up against the gate and pushing on it and she says, "I think I can do this!" He was pretty impressed that she didn't get scared. They didn't get in until after 1:30 and I think the thing she was most proud of was how long she stayed out to help him. Daddy thought that was pretty neat that she wanted to be out there. I think she's learning that if you want to spend time with daddy, you better learn to work :) But it was great bonding and it made the job fun for both of them.

That is so sweet about MiniMe and her Daddy. I love to watch the kids with their dads. It is great that he takes the time to spend with her and teach her about the farm.
